Transjakarta Passenger Increases Due to Odd-Even Policy Expansion

Transjakarta bus passenger is increased due to odd-even policy expansion.

Based on PT. Transjakarta data, total Transjakarta bus passenger on Monday (7/30) reaches 616,744 thousand people. "It is increased by around 34 thousand people," stated Budi Kaliwono, Director of PT. Transkakarta, Tuesday (8/7).

He mentioned, there is increase in passenger in corridor, non-corridor and small bus services which are included in One Karcis One Trip (OK OTrip) program. Because more than 40 thousand people currently using OK OTrip service in 14 operating routes such as Kampung Melayu-Duren Sawit (OK-2), Lebak Bulus-Pondok Labu (OK-3), Grogol-Tubagus Angke (OK-4).

Then Semper-Rorotan (OK-5), Kampung Rambutan-Pondok Gede (OK-6), Tanjung Priok-Bulak Turi (OK-15), PGC-Condet (OK-16), Pulogadung-Senen (OK-17), Setu-Pinang Ranti (OK-19), Lubang Buaya-Cawang UKI (OK-20), Pasar Rebo-Taman Wiladatika (OK-28).

The other routes are Meruya-Citraland (OK-30), Pondok Labu-Blok M (OK-31), Petukangan-Lebak Bulus (OK-32). Current OK OTrip public minivans are 354 units. This number will continue to increase to improve service to wider area.

In the future, he continued, his side will keep innovating to provide a better service and security for its customers. Besides, Transjakarta management performance will be also enhanced in all routes.
